'Pokemon" has been part of the Smash Bros. games since its first iteration. Now, fans of the game "Super Smash Brothers 4" and the "Pokémon" games will surely be amazed as Lillie and Cosmog become playable characters on the latest entry in the Smash Bros. series.

Thanks to a game mod from the modding community called GameBanana, the said characters from Pokémon Sun and Moon are now available skins for the characters Rosalina and Luma, Now Loading reports.  And while looking as completely different characters, Lillie and her partner Pokémon Cosmog will be sharing the same moveset as Rosalina and Luma from the Mario universe.

The skin download is available through multiple sources, and Kotaku assures those who are concerned with safety that they are safe to use over the Wi-Fi network, as the skins are only client-side aesthetic changes.

It is interesting that Lillie was added to the roster, as, in "Sun and Moon", she was known to dislike battling, but instead prefers reading. Cosmog, on the other hand, is a pre-evolution of a legendary Pokémon, in this case Generation 7 mascots Solgaleo and Lunala, and is the first one to be so.

On the other hand, Rosalina the adoptive mother of the Lumas, is one of the strongest fighters in the current Smash Brothers metagame. Introduced in Super Smash Bros. 4, she is ranked 4th out of 58 fighters, which brings her on the S-tier along with Cloud from "Final Fantasy VII", "Sonic the Hedgehog" and "Mario".

First released for the Nintendo 64, Super Smash Bros. is a crossover fighting game series that features several characters from different games that have, at least at one point, been playable in any Nintendo console or handheld. With the initial game having 12 fighters (now termed as "The Original Twelve"), it deviates from the standard fighting game as it does not use a typical life bar. Instead, the goal is to knock off opponents from the stage, which costs the knocked off player a life point. the last player standing wins the match.
