"Dragon Ball Super" is currently airing a new arc with a special focus on a new villain that is set to do some major damage. It was also reported that episodes 70, 71 and 72 will also feature the return of past characters. No one knows if the popular Japanese animation series will end after these episodes but there are rumors that Son Goku will get killed by a powerful assassin.

University Herald reported that episode 70 will be about a galactic baseball game between Universe 6 and 7 entitled "Champa's Challenge! The Time We Face Off in Baseball." This filler episode will also feature the return of Yamcha who was killed in the Saiyan saga. This will air on December 11.

Meanwhile, episode 71 will be a wakeup call to all "Dragon Ball Super" fans. It seems that Son Goku is not so powerful after all! He will face the ultimate assassin Hit in this episode entitled "Goku Dies! Assassination order that must be performed." Hit was hired by some unknown enemy that wants Goku dead. It seems that the hero will find himself in a predicament but it seems that he will be able to survive this one as episode 72 hits his luck. Episode 71 will air on December 18.

GameNGuide reported that the episode which will air on Christmas Day will feature Son Goku's amazing luck as he survives Hit's assassination attempt. It seems that he has learned a counter attack which will spare his life. Episode 72 is entitled "Counter Attack? An Invisible Assassination Skill."

It is definitely clear as day that even if Son Goku has faced ultimate danger in the hands of an assassin, he will survive and make it till the next story arc. Fans just need to stay tuned for details of the next episodes which will surely be released late December
