Once again, PSX is here with us. This is the day that PlayStation fans get to know what's coming up in the near future, during the holiday season. This year we hope that Sony will have some new stuff in store for us, especially now that rumors revolving around the keynote are flying everywhere. Judging from the fact that Sony has just released new hardware products, it's almost certain that whatever they will be launching during PSX won't be related to hardware. PS4 pro was released just a short while ago together with PSVR so it's doubtful that they would still have a hardware product to be mentioned during this gift giving season.

Even so, PS4 enthusiasts are optimistic that Sony will highlight at least a few games that will be receiving updates for 2017. As a matter of fact that's the only channel that Sony can take for this year's PSX show. Forbes argues that if they won't hint players of new games and new updates set for 2017, then we wonder what other hot news they would have for the event. The event will be covered live from New York City by popular press houses.

According to PlayStation's Blog, only invited fans will get access to the live event, the rest of us will watch from the house. After the usual presentations, viewers will have a glance at handpicked episodes of PlayStation's live casts. Talk of the live casts, here we expect to see previews of big time games envisaged for 2017. Among them, God of War, Destiny and Horizon: Zero Dawn are amid the most anticipated of them all.

The event is expected to be married together with some little bit of real gaming. The gaming session will begin with the Capcom Cup 2016 competitions followed by Call of Duty World League. Top players in both games shall participate and get recognized worldwide as masters in the games.
