Rick and Morty fans rejoice! A raw footage of what will be the third season of the animated cult comedy has finally made it to the internet.

Warning spoilers ahead!

Anxious fans are now given an opportunity to see something before it is officially available. The sub-three-minute raw clip consisted only of storyboards, uncensored voiceovers, and meager sound effects, according to Bleeding Cool News.

The behind the scenes looks at animation in progress tackles chiefly Morty eavesdropping that Jessica, his longtime crush, is ready to be involved in a relationship. But then Rick shows up and takes him once again for an intergalactic adventure. Sometime at the near end, Morty will even acknowledge that he can no longer handle the dangers that their intergalactic crusades brings along. Maybe for personal reasons towards Jessica.

The two protagonists as show in the video will duked it out with a giant monster that will almost be their final downfall. However, as always, Rick and Morty emerged as the victors in the battle and they even received a medal at a Star Wars-like ceremony. But as they retreated to their spaceship, Rick and Morty freaked out and broke down knowing that they've almost died from battling the space monster. Will the upcoming Rick and Morty Season 3 be the finale, as our heroes are broken down by all the danger and near-death experiences they've encountered in their space-opera adventure. Series co-creator Justin Roiland did the voices for the characters in the clip.

The clip of Rick and Morty Season 3 is courtesy of the "Development Meeting" live stream of Adult Swim and will also feature the two adventurers getting honored in a Star Wars-esque medal ceremony, according to Uproxx. Despite all the rumors teasing a 2016 release date, Rick and Morty Season 3 won't be arriving anytime soon, with a premiere expected at some point in 2017.
