Yi Technology CES 2017 Launches: Action Camera with 4K at 60fps Capacity and Erida Drone

Yi technology's new camera becomes a direct rival to the action cameras of GoPro. An action camera that can shoot 4K Videos at 60 Fps is no longer anticipation. Yi Technology will be the first manufacturer to unveil a 4K @ 60fps camera named as Yi 4K+ and Erida drone. Sony, GoPro and other manufacturers should keep an eye on Yi Technology upcoming camera.

According to Engadget, the China-based company backed by Xiaomi, Yi Technology will unveil its newly developed camera known as Yi 4K+ action camera at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2017. The CES 2017 is scheduled from January 5 to January 8, 2017.

Erida drone is claimed to be the fastest three-rotor drone on the market with speeds of up to 75 mph for straight 40 minutes. The drone has controls for gimbal and sensor system for safer flights, it has manual exposure adjustments, and foldable rotors to name a few.

The reports describes that the Yi 4K+ will capture QHD videos at 60 fps that make picture smooth and it also expands the horizon of editing a video. With this improved and top class technology, Yi Technology will be setting up a mile stone for the camera manufacturers in the tech market. It will be the first manufacturer to unveil the first ever action camera capable of shooting 4K videos at staggering 60fps. 

According to a Press Release, Sean Da, Yi Technology CEO, stated "CES 2017 is an important milestone for us as we look to demonstrate our full product line and reveal novelty solutions. As a challenger brand in the changing imaging technology market, we are constantly looking for ways to push the boundaries and set new standards for the global industry."
