Microsoft Surface Phone 2017: Amazing Specs and Features to Look For

Microsoft, the tech giant might unveil its new device known as Surface Phone 2017. Microsoft Surface Phone is the highly anticipated smartphone in the year 2017 along with iPhone 8, Samsung Galaxy Note 8 and Galaxy S8.

Current reports indicate that Microsoft 10 will be the primary focus by the company at the said event. The performance of Window's 10 on mobile devices will be upgraded in the second quarter of next year through the third Windows 10 feature update named Redstone 3, and this could be the main draw of the Surface Phone.

According to Forbes   the newest Microsoft 10 OS update could be the key feature of the upcoming Surface Phone 2017. The report suggests that Microsoft will be unveiling a premium smartphone, one which rivals the Microsoft Surface Pro 4 and the Surface Book.

Also, reported that Microsoft will launch the Surface Phone in the next year with no exact date mentioned, but some reports pinpoint the release date to spring 2017. Microsoft's CEO, Satya Nadella, said that Microsoft will make the "ultimate mobile device" which resulted in a whole array of Surface Phone specs and features rumors.

Leaked report suggests that the phone will come in a 6-inch screen profile. Microsoft Windows chief Terry Myerson reportedly said that the Windows 10 support of ARM-based chips will specifically apply in various mobile screen sizes only like 6-inches, 10-inches and 14-inches.

Other report speculates that Microsoft will be launching three price variants for the Surface Phone 2017. The company will differentiate the models into a consumer model, a business model, and an enthusiast model. However, this report has not been confirmed yet.

Microsoft Surface Phone 2017 is expected to have a 512 GB internal memory with 8 GB of RAM variant, and a variant with 256 GB internal memory and 6 GB RAM. Another variant will reportedly have 128 GB of internal storage and 4 GB of RAM.

The phone is also expected to have an Intel Kaby Lake chipset and a 20-megapixel rear camera with Carl Zeiss lens. A Surface Pen is also expected to come with the device.

Although, many rumors are surfacing on the internet pertaining to the Microsoft Surface Phone 2017, the company is tight lipped on the existence of this phone.
