George Michael's beau Fadi Fawaz claims that hackers were responsible for posting that the singer tried to commit suicide on his twitter account.

Fawaz said that the claim is false and set the record straight once and for all. He revealed that he fell asleep in his car and was not able to see the singer before he died alone in his bedroom, E! Online reported.

Fawaz, 43, said that Michael died peacefully after he found the singer's dead body in bed in their home in Thames, Oxfordshire after trying to wake him up.

"I am shocked with what's going on with the Twitter thing. My Twitter account has been hacked and closed, "It's a bit scary to be honest. I did not send those tweets. I woke up at 11:30 a.m.to the news. I am not going to worry about these things," he said.

The now deleted tweets claimed that the "Careless Whisper" tried to commit suicide multiple times. Fawaz's account has since been deleted after his clarification.

Michael's representatives previously said that the singer died of heart failure. In a statement released by the Thames Valley police, the authorities clarified that the circumstances surrounding Michael's death was not suspicious. As of now, the result of the port-mortem examination of the singer's death is still inconclusive and more tests will be carried out. The result of those tests will not be known for several weeks, People reported.

Fans and neighbors mourned the singer's unexpected death leaving flowers, teddy bears, photos and cards at the back of Michael's house. Despite the rumors surrounding his sudden death, the crowd who extended their condolences had nothing but positive things to say about the late pop star.

Michael was a former member of Wham! that has been responsible for hits that include "Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go," "Last Christmas" and "Careless Whisper." In 1987, Michael went solo with "Faith" as his debut album that sold over 25 million copies.
