Michael Schumacher Health Update: F1 Champ Turns 48 Amidst ‘Desperate’ Health Condition

Michael Schumacher's health condition has not improved for the good ever since he was transferred back to his home in Switzerland. He recently completed 48 years of his life behind these tragic walls of silence that was built when he suffered a fatal head injury during the skiing accident in the French Alps.

According to a report published by Hindustan Times, the former Formula One champions was skiing at a moderate speed when he accidentally hit a rock and crashed. Schumacher suffered from fatal head injuries and was later put on medically-induced coma.

Upon no improvement in health, the Formula One legend was transferred back to him home in Switzerland. He is being looked after a team of specialists and highly-experience medical experts since years, but no one has an idea whether his health has improved in all these years or not.

The Schumacher family has already spent more than 13 million dollars on his treatment, which includes the cost of around the clock care and medical observation. Despite all the efforts made by the media and Schumacher's fans to know more about his health, the Schumacher family has made sure that none of their private information about the retired player's health leaks outside the boundary walls of their home.

The need to keep the information personal and private was recently emphasized by Schumacher's manager, Sabine Kehm. He said that Schumacher's health is not a public issue and that the family will continue to keep all the information confidential. He further requested everyone not to intrude into the life of the ex-player or his family members.

Meanwhile, iNews reports that Schumacher's condition is desperate. The publication reports that usually the window in which any sought of improvement after a head injury takes place is two years. After this time period, the condition of the patient reaches a plateau an continues to remain the same for the rest of his or her life.
