Lego's building blocks will enable kids to design the robots of their choice. It could be a Cat, a Dog, a Car or a Train. In the age of 5th generation internet, smart phone revolution and holographic approaches, kids are going to get high tech toys, digitally synchronized, programmable, adjustable, understandable, friendly, smart and intelligent toys.

Lego has taken the initiative by introducing the high tech toys that kids can shape, arrange and program like those in the movie "Transformers". Armed with programmable micro controller and sensors, Lego toy robots have laid the foundations for robotic revolution not only for kids but also for multi uses in different fields.

theverge reported that like the popular Lego robotic toy brand "Mindstorms" that is capable of building tools and like automatic card signing machine, the new inventory is more sophisticated. A tool called boost is built around a programmed motorized hub called a move hub. Move hub is armed with six AAA batteries and a sensor.

In the year's biggest technology conference at Las Vegas, Lego experts trained School children to code their Lego toys and create their own robots. Lego boost teaches kids to give blocks a shape and structure reports usatoday.

A unique combination of coded construction, Lego Boost can be connected via Wifi to Android or Apple devices. This digital hub can then interact with other robots through connectivity and different sensor like motion sensor, radar, balance, direction etc. Lego Boost is totally different for Mindstorm platforms of Lego.

Retail price of Lego robotic toy is 160 US dollars and is due to be released after mid-2017. Lego Boost consists of 840 Lego pieces and 3 Boost bricks. Bricks can be inter connected for customization through Android or Apple devices. Instructions are provided by a tablet App which can assemble the robots accordingly. Children will not have to write codes but a software will help them select codes and instructions that may be making noise, lining up, dancing or reacting to voice instructions. As the robots is not installed with microphone or speaker, so the smart phone or tablet will interpret the commands and instructions to the robot.
