The gaming experience can be now shared on Facebook via its live video streaming feature. Nvidia CEO Jen-Hsun Huang at CES 2017 press stated that GeForce Experience's video game capture technology is being connected with Facebook Live now.

Huang has basically breezed past the announcement heading into a trailer for Mass Effect: Andromeda streamed live, but it does represent a rather huge development in live streaming.

The streaming on Facebook Live is enabled through the Nvidia's GeForce Experience app, which is compatible with PCs featuring Nvidia GPUs. Gamers can also add a webcam and microphone to interact live with the Facebook audience while streaming the game.

Though it is not the first time live streaming has been provided to gamers, previously they could use Amazon-owned Twitch or YouTube Gaming to broadcast their games live. Facebook is now another option added to the streaming list and with Nvidia's support. While Twitch has now mainly become the go-to place to watch streamed games, Facebook has ever more tried to creep into that space.

Huang also said Twitch has streamed more than two trillion minutes, and if Facebook can snap up that kind of engagement, it's going to give Facebook yet another big grip in the increasingly hot live streaming space.

Of course, this requires that users exist within the Nvidia GeForce Experience universe, but Nvidia's sell is that it can optimize your computer and gaming experience and make simpler the process of making the games play best.

Huang also added that, by playing games within the GeForce Experience, users will be able to connect it directly "with two clicks." It will now allow users to capture more and more gaming footage that has also become a big area where startups like Forge are popping up. And if it offers live-streamers another place to gather a big audience, it's going to continue to make Nvidia increasingly the go-to platform, reports Tech Crunch.

If you are unaware about GeForce Experience, then we should remind you that, it is a gaming platform by Nvidia which lets GeForce subscribers download game-specific drivers to optimise their gaming experience. And now, users can show off their gaming skills on Facebook just by two clicks.
