Dell Unveils XPS 27 AIO PC That Features 10-Speaker With XPS 15 & Rose Gold XPS 13 At CES 2017

In the race to redefine personal computing, the US-based computer technology company Dell has recently launched new products at the ongoing Consumer Electronics Show (CES 2017).

The new products include Dell Canvas, XPS 13 2-in-1, XPS 27 AIO, Precision 7720 mobile workstation, Ultra Sharp 32 Ultra HD 8K monitor and 12-inch Latitude 7285 2-in-1 notebook.

Dell XPS 13 2-in-1 is offering a 360-degree hinge for multiple productivity and viewing options using Continuum display with up to 15 hours of battery life and a QHD+ (5.7M pixels) InfinityEdge touch display.

XPS 27 AIO is sporting 4K Ultra HD (3840 x 2160) edge-to-edge touch display with 100 per cent Adobe RGB colour gamut. It also have inbuilt AMD Radeon Pro graphics capable of powering VR, reports Economic Times.

This latest desktop is coming with six front-facing speakers, out of which covers mid and bass frequencies, with dedicated tweeters, or treble speakers. On each corner there are two full-range speakers and a pair of passive radiators. However it is plenty sure but nevertheless a welcome stepping-away from the spectrum of desktop PCs with average audio components.

The beefier audio was collaboration with Jack Joseph Puig, a Grammy award-winning music producer, resulting in what Dell boasts as "the best sound for an all-in-one PC" that by the look of its hardware alone spells an regarding description. The company also claims that the XPS 27 is two times louder the Apple's 27-inch iMac, and can output up to 10 times the bass of HP's Envy 27, reports TechTimes.

Inside Dell's new all-in-one offering is a sixth-generation Intel Skylake processors, and users can choose among the Core i5-6400 or the Core i7-6700. It would be rather nicer if Intel's updated Kaby Lake processors were outfitted in the XPS 27's internals, but Intel's sixth-generation processors are still pretty exceptional.

Users can opt also for up to 32 GB of DDR4 RAM, with the option to add more memory sticks and max out at 64 GB. There is also an option for a 1 TB SSD, or up to 2 TB and a 32 GB M.2 SSD. For those who want to go with an M.2 SSD, also have options for 512 GB or 1 TB.

The XPS 27 is coming with two USB-C ports, five USB 3.0 sockets, an HDMI port, a headphone jack, and an SD card reader. It also has a Gigabit Ethernet port and an audio output.

The XPS 27 is having a starting price tag of $1,499, with beefier specifications surpassing the $2,000 mark. The Dell XPS 27 is shipping now and those interested in purchasing one can head over to Dell's site and purchase the base model, or configure it with higher specs.
