Android 7.0 Nougat Update Rolls Out For HTC 10 And LG G Pad X 8.0 T-Mobile

T-Mobile has rolled out Android 7.0 Nougat update to HTC 10 and LG G Pad X 8.0 devices. The surprising news came after a few users claim to have received the OTA update. Famous leakster LlabTooFer has also confirmed it via Twitter on Jan. 4.

The Android 7.0 Nougat update that is mostly limited to Google's Pixel and Nexus devices, gradually making its way to other devices as well. HTC has already released Nougat for the unlocked variant of its 2016 flagship back in November last year.

The latest firmware requires at least 1.3GB of space and the handsets should have 2.37.531.5 version number. HTC 10 T-Mobile users can also manually check whether the Nougat update is ready by heading to Setting - About - Software - Check Now.

HTC 10 is a premium device, which has Snapdragon 820 chip, 4 GB of RAM and 3000 mAh battery. It has got 5.2-inch Super LCD5 display with two ROM variants available i.e. 32 GB and 64 GB. The said device has 12 MP rear-shooter and 5 MP front-facing shooter.

Android 7.0 Nougat will bring a host of new features and functionality to Android-powered devices, with some user interface tweaks are onboard as well. Google has released the update for its Pixel and Nexus devices last year. However third-party OEMs and carriers will take a considerable amount of time in bringing the update to other devices.

Another news from T-Mobile is intended for G Pad X 8.0 owners. The Nougat update unpredictably arrives at the affordable device via desktop software app, LG Bridge. As of this moment, there are only a few users who are getting the latest version update and it is expected to reach wider consumers, reports Phone Arena.

For those who haven't installed LG Bridge, it is a management app that enables data backup and manage content wirelessly. To obtain the Nougat update, user should necessarily to download said app.
