After being delayed for how many years, the most anticipated installment for the Final Fantasy franchise finally made its debut into the gaming world last November. Final Fantasy XV is the latest installment for the Final Fantasy game series. The game is ported in XBOX 1 and PlayStation 4 and is announced to have been shipped six million copies physically and digitally worldwide.

After the five million shipments from the initial release, Square Enix announced that additional one million copies of the game have been shipped worldwide. These digits are considered so far as good and the game is a commercial success.

As reported by Gamespot, Hajima Tabata has said earlier that the goal is to reach ten million shipments to be considered as a success, but he clarifies later on that the ten million shipments is the studio's personal goal and is not the threshold for game's success.

The game has been considered as one of the most innovative games of 2016 by Computerworld. The creative and convincing creature designs are the factors that made this game worthy of the award. The Final Fantasy XV also redefines 3D RPGs for its detail-rich in game avatars and NPCs.

Square Enix revealed earlier this month that the "Moogle Chocobo Carnival" will come to the game this January 24. The event is said to be held in Altissia.  In addition to this limited time event, the company also announced in the same press release that additional DLCs which are called "Holiday Pack" are coming in the future, both free and paid. The free version of the Holiday Pack is rumored to include Noct a Choco-Mog tee.

There is a rumor that the game will also be ported in PC but there's still no official announcement by Square Enix. So FF fans who wants to play this game on PC should stay tuned for more updates.
