Foldable Smartphones By Nokia, Samsung, LG Reportedly Arriving Within 2017

Thirst for innovation and technology never ends. Reportedly, all the major brands of mobile Phone industry are working on foldable mobile phones. They are on a untiring struggle to make their launch possible till the mid of 2017.

Earlier Samsung was reported for testing its foldable display but now the South Korean Mobile industry icon is all set to launch its foldable smartphone in the first quarter of this year. It is also reported that about 100,000 units of foldable smart phones from Samsung will land in the markets. The new Samsung foldable smartphone could be "Samsung Galaxy X1 Plus" with a display bending from the middle.

Gadgets reported on the development that Samsung is all set to launch the foldable smart phone into the markets but the company has yet not made the final decision. According to the report, the final decision is expected after a re-shuffle of Mobile Technology and Information personnel is carried out. Samsung is pursuing more adorable designs and technologically leading features of their Android powered next generation smartphones.  

According to techviral, LG has also announced to release 100,000 units of its foldable smart phone in the first quarter of 2017. According to their statement, the LG company is all set to launch the foldable device in the markets. The company has considerable share in the market and a potential competitor Samsung and Nokia.

After returning to the competition, Nokia has announced their comeback in the market with a number of new smartphones. Nokia's new patent details show a smart phone with foldable display making the screen fold from the middle. After a marketing and distribution agreement with HMD, Nokia is going to launch Nokia E1 and Nokia 6 smartphones in the market. Patent for the foldable device is granted to Nokia by US Patent and Trademark Office. According to details, the smartphone, when unfolded, present a bigger display and larger screen.
