Top Seven Phones Of January: Nokia 6 Takes Lead

A new week, a new list. The top seven trending phones of the week are here and because of several 'leaks' that were reported this month, some new phones have made it to the list which are still unreleased. The list is sorted according to people's interest in the smartphone.

Nokia 6

Launched at CES 2017, Nokia 6 marks the company's comeback into the smartphone race. Nokia 6 is a mid-range device of 5.5 inches and features and IPS-LCD display. The smartphone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 SoC with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal memory. A 16MP rear camera and an 8MP front camera handle the photography department. The phone will ship with Android 7.0 Nougat and is expected to launch this month reports cNet.

Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime

Samsung's one of the best mid-range device, J7 Prime features a 5.5 inch full HD screen and a large 3300Mah battery. The phone is powered by Exynos 7870 Octa which is an octa-core processor and 3GB RAM. The phone has a 13MP camera on the back and an 8MP camera on the front. The phone comes with Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

Samsung Galaxy J7 (2016)

Samsung's updated J7 features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 SoC and 2GB RAM but the same 720P AMOLED screen from its predecessor. 13MP and 5MP camera duo ensure good photos. The phone has large 3300Mah battery which powers the device for full day.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 3

Xiaomi's one of the bestselling smartphone is at number 4 in the list. This phone is one of the best mid-range device and has a 5.5inch full HD display. The phone comes in two variants and the higher and more powerful variant has 3GB RAM and 32GB internal memory. The phone has a massive 4050 Mah battery and smartphone's battery life is excellent. The phone is powered by a hexa-core Snapdragon 650 CPU which makes multi-tasking a breeze reports GSMArena.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 4

Successor to the Redmi Note 3, this phone features a ten-core processor from Mediatek called Helio X20. The Redmi Note 4 has a better camera than Note 3 despite the same resolution. The phone comes in two variants and the more expensive variant has 64GB internal storage. Everything else is the similar between Redmi Note 3 and Note 4.

Xiaomi Redmi 3s Prime

This phone is targeted towards budget users and is one of the cheapest phones from Xiaomi. The device has a Snapdragon 430 CPU with 3GB RAM and 32GB internal memory. The screen size is 5 inches with 720P resolution. This phone has fast battery charging and a big battery of 4100Mah capacity. Front camera has a resolution of 5MP and rear camera has a resolution of 13MP.

Vivo X5

Vivo's X5 smartphone is one of the best seller in mid-range segment and features a 5.5 inch display with 720P resolution. The major highlight of this phone is a 20MP secondary camera for selfies. A 13MP primary camera has an HDR mode and does full HD video recording. It has an octa-core CPU, 32GB internal memory and 4GB RAM. A 3000Mah battery provides the juice to keep the phone running for a whole day.
