AMD and its various AIB partners have reduced the price on the Radeon Pro Duo from $1500, to just $799. It's the fastest graphics card from Radeon Technologies Group. The Radeon Pro Duo sports dual Fiji GPUs with 4GB of HBM1 each, for a total of 8GB of HBM1.

Noted by Tweaktown.com, the Radeon Pro Duo was available at Newegg.com but it is currently out of stock, so it is possible that it will show up again. Radeon Pro Duo, when launched, was marketed as the perfect graphics card for both 4K gaming and professional content creation, packing 16 TFLOPs of single-precision compute performance with two Fiji GPUs.

Each of the Fiji GPUs has 4096 stream processors (8196 total), which makes the Radeon Pro Duo the highest GPU cores of any graphics card, ever. We have 64 ROPs and 256 TMUs per GPU, with each Fiji GPU running at 1000MHz, according to tweaktown.

The card delivers 512 GT/s texture fill rates and 128 GP/s pixel fill rates. It was designed to power 4K gaming and professional content and features AMD's Liquid VR plus FireRender technologies for the best app-level support.

AMD has shaped the Radeon Pro Duo for 4K gaming and professional content creation, with 16 TFLOPs of 32-bit single precision performance, the highest of any graphics card on the market till now. The Radeon Pro Duo is the first workstation graphics card which will feature HBM1 technology, with the 4GB of HBM1 clocked at 500MHz, providing 512GB/sec bandwidth thanks to 4096-bit memory bus.

If applications will be able support the dual GPUs then you can utilize the 512GB/sec from each set of HBM1 for a total of 1TB/sec for maximum output.

The price cut is not region specific and the card is on discount in both North American and Asia Pacific regions. However, the discounts range between 31% up to 46% which is a major drop from its original price.
