‘Red Dead Redemption 2’ Update: Rockstar Games To Announce Gameplay Details In February

"Red Dead Redemption 2" is predicted to be another Rockstar's major hit this year. The release date is said to be on October 20, but that doesn't make Rockstar won't push the release date to be even longer than expected.

A lot of fans have been worried that the publisher might delay "RDR 2" into 2018. The October 20 release date was leaked by UK retailer, Littlewoods. The retailer, however, has withdrawn the speculated release date from the listing.

While Rockstar is yet to announce the exact release date any time this year, fans have been speculating that RDR 2's plot is going to be phenomenal. Even though the trailer gave nothing away, fans were able to spot hints that RDR 2 plot might be a prequel to the original installment. It remains unclear if there will be any returning characters for the upcoming series.

However, a source that was said to be a Rockstar insider has leaked several big story details. Previously, Take-Two boss, Strauss Zelnick, has teased that "RDR 2" might meet fans expectation.

He revealed that the game has incredible gameplay and great story elements that will make every PlayStation 4 and Xbox One wanted for some more. Meanwhile, Rockstar hasn't planned to release "RDR 2" on PC that leads fans to start a petition urging Rockstar to let PC gaming community joins other console players to enjoy the game.

The Rockstar insider who drops spoiler for "RDR 2" plot was said the same informant who also leaked GTA 5 Online updates. The informant teased the next series will only have three playable characters, without John Marsden among them. A recent report noted that it won't be long for fans to hear official news from the publisher about the epic game that depicts a western world.

Take-Two Interactive, Rockstar's parent company, is scheduled to have next earning calls in February. So, there might be a good chance that they will give away new details to fans that have been longing to hear something new. However, for now, fans need to sit tight and keep a close eye to make sure there won't be any news that goes unnoticed.
