'Red Dead Redemption 2' News: Release Date, Gameplay And Trailer

"Red Dead Redemption 2" is one of the most anticipated games of the year. Rockstar Games will release the game on Sony Playstation 4 and Microsoft Xbox One. Though the game had been announced by Rockstar in October last year, but the title has not yet received an official release date.

As reported by Express, Rockstar has confirmed that "Red Dead Redemption 2" will release in Autumn 2017. But, according to a leak by a UK retailer Gameseek the game will be released officially on October 20, 2017. The similar news comes from another UK retailer called Littlewoods which has also listed the game for launch in October. However, the listed date is October 2 which is conflicting with the release date mentioned by Gameseek.

The release date for "Red Dead Redemption 2" by online retailers might become accurate as in the past also several retailers leaked the information about the release date and features which happened to be true. Posting a release date for a game also helps the retailers to increase the sales, VideoGames Republic reported.

The trailer for the game was released in 2016 showcasing the open world gameplay. The acts of horseriding, bandit shooting and desert exploring will be back in the new game and the game may offer up to seven playable heroes. This will enable gamers to play so many characters each one with their unique traits. The game features a single player and a massive online multiplayer mode. The game might be released for PC, PCAdvisor reported.

"Red Dead Redemption 2" might pose a threat to GTA Online as suggested by a report online. The DLC support for GTA Online might be ceased because of the release of RDR2. This is because RDR2 is a western shooting game and since the gameplays are similar, additional DLC support could be ceased after RDR2 is released.
