"Spider-Man: Homecoming" will be swinging to the theaters on July 7, 2017. Fans know that Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) will serve as the teenage Peter Parker's (Tom Holland) mentor in the new Marvel film. Holland represented Dell at the 2017 Consumer Electronics Show, where he also talked about his character's best friend, Ned Leeds, and his new Spider-Man suit.

Peter Parker's best friend is a gamer

Tony Stark offered to help Spider-Man in his career path as a superhero during "Captain America: Civil War". In the new Spider-Man movie, the webslinger's superhero suit is from Iron Man himself. Peter and his best friend, Ned Leeds, stumble through the suit to find all the bells and whistles.

Comicbook reports that Holland revealed that Ned Leeds is a gamer. The 20-year-old actor hinted to the press that Ned's gaming passion is going to help Peter's new career as a teenage superhero. While Peter Parker is a brilliant science guy himself, having a similarly nerdy best friend adds a new dimension to the film. In fact, Ned's involvement in the gaming world could help Peter learn and practice some brilliant action moves and learn more about the other gadgets hidden in his suit.

"Spider-Man: Homecoming" cast

Holland further said that Peter and Ned used the Dell Inspiron 15 to find the other features of the suit. Movieweb reports that another trailer could be released before July to show the other things that the new Spider-Man suit could do.

Fans have seen that Peter can use the webbed wings, but there are still a few more things he could do with that Iron Man gift. Actors confirmed to take part in "Spider-Man: Homecoming" are Michael Keaton as the villain Vulture, Tony Revolori as Flash Thomspon, Jacob Batalon as Ned Leeds, and Zandaya as Michelle.

Tony Stark will, of course, be part of the film, as well as his bodyguard Happy Hogan (John Favreau). Michael Chernus plays Tinkerer and Kenneth Choi will star as Principal Morita. It's interesting to note that Choi also played Jim Morita, one of the Howling Commandos unit soldiers in "Captain America: The First Avenger", so there's certainly a solid MCU continuum in the "Spider-Man: Homecoming". While waiting for the film, here's the trailer one more time.
