"Pokemon Go" was a super hit back in 2016. It took up most of the lime-light in the smartphone game scenario at least. Now there's a new report suggesting that Niantic is gearing up for a huge 'Pokemon Go' update.

The Augmented Reality technology was taken to a next level, thanks to the Niantic-backed craze that spread all over the world through the game.

The update will apparently be coming along with some major changes and fixes. The same report also suggested that the game developer is planning on organising a special April Fool's Day event for its fans who are eagerly waiting for Legendaries and Gen 2 Pokemon.

Express reported that Niantic is planning a special 'secret' advantage for its users. Pokemon Go players should keep an eye on Pokemon Medals to stay aware of this particular advantage. The fans too, believe that the upcoming April's Fool Day event will be adding a ton of Magikarp to the wild with that particular day's theme.

This isn't the first time Niantic is trying to make the user experience fun and easy. Previously - back in 2016 - the game developer made the Pikachu medal be easily attainable when the Santa Hat Pikachu became common. There are many more features that are expected with this update of Pokemon Go. Apparently, users will also be able to keep a track of all the new features through the newsfeed so you better not give it a miss.

This comes across as great news as there have been several issues that have been emerging especially with regards to the functionality of 'Pokemon Go' in the recent past. Android users are especially facing trouble when it comes to Pokemon Go. Some of them even complained that the game pauses once the loading bar reaches 100 per cent. Well, hope these issues are resolved with the upcoming update.

Stay tune for more 'Pokemon Go' updates!
