The developer is not going for a flash sale with the Redmi Note 4 as buyers with who have an F-code would be able to get the device easily on Mi.  According to Indian express, the Chinese developer sees India as an important market, as the Redmi series has generate high sales figure in the market.

It is reported that Xiaomi confirmed to Indianexpress that for flagships, it will launch only one high-end device in India and also promised an upgrade for the Redmi 3S series for India. The developer revealed that it will bring more of its ecosystem devices to the market.

According to BGR, the "Xiaomi Redmi Note 4" features a 5.5 inches full HD display with 2.5D arc glass design, and Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor. It also has a 13MP primary camera with PDAF, LED flash and a 5MP front camera. The Redmi Note 4 rear camera uses Sony CMOS sensor, 1.12 micron pixel size, f/2.0 aperture and Adreno 506 GPU.

The device has three RAM+storage variants, the 2GB+32GB, 3GB+32GB and the 4GB RAM+64GB, with a storage that is expandable to 128GB. The device has a dual-hybrid SIM, which means users can either use a nano-SIM+ microSD card or two SIMs at the same time.

It has a 4,100 mAh battery, a slight upgrade from the "Redmi Note 3," which has 4050 mAh battery. Xiaomi reportedly states that the new Snapdragon 625 processor with 14nm FinFET technology ensures a better battery performance and is more efficient compared to its predecessors which had 28nm design Snapdragon 650 processor.

The device performs 25 percent better in terms of battery compared to its predecessors and runs on Android Marshmallow and MIUI 8.0 with the developer promising Android Nougat 7.0 very soon. Redmi note 4 has dual speakers at the bottom, instead of at the back like the Note 3.

Recent review of battery performance reveals that it will last two days for moderate users and 24 hours for heavy usage on a single charge. It is reported that the device can perfectly handle multi-tasking, graphics heavy games, and other daily tasks.

However, it has a low-light camera performance, and a slow charging process due to the size. The developer said it sold up to 3 million Redmi Note 3 smartphones 2016 in India, and is confident the figure will double for the new Note 4.
