Could fan favorite character Jesse Pinkman of Breaking Bad make a surprise apprearance in the spinoff "Better Call Saul" for its third season? Its entirely possible, according to actor Aaron Paul.

In an interview with Collider, the actor said he is more than willing to reprise his role should showrunner Peter Gould ask him. He said he enjoys seeing some of the old characters from Breaking Bad making an appearance in Saul's spinoff because it brings him back to the time they were just starting out with the original series.

"It would be nice, if it were to happen. I'm such a fan of that show, and I see all of these returning characters come back, which is so great. The issue at hand is that it's a prequel and Jesse would be much younger, but if Krazy-8 can come back, why can't Jesse? So, I don't know," he said.

Among the other rumored characters to return to the franchise is Giancarlo Esposito's Gustavo Fring after fans deciphered an easter egg left by the writers on the initials of Season 2 which read: "Fring's Back," Vanity Fair said.

Meanwhile, Aaron Paul also shared what fans should watch out for in the second season of "The Path," where he stars as Eddie. According to Paul, Eddie will be faced with a tough challenge when the show picks up as he will be living outside of the gates. For the first time, he will be separated from the people he knew all his life. He will also be adjusting to life on the outside where he will feel like an outsider trying to fit in.

For her part, showrunner Jessica Goldberg said in an interview in Variety that the show, which delves into the subject of faith and religion, will highlight a reversal for some characters of the show as it gears to explore "the mysticism of the movement at the center of The Path."

According to Goldberg, the second season will be more intense compared to the first part of the series and will explore what happened to Eddie and Dr. Meyer in Peru. Viewers will also be curious to see how Meyerist Movement leader Cal deals with the threat of exposure of his corrupt practices.

"The Path" Season 2 is already available for streaming on Hulu while Better Call Saul returns to AMC on April 10.
