Dave Bautista Talks About 'Blade Runner 2049' and Fanboys Over Ryan Gosling and Kurt Russell

Dave Bautista's career is rocketing upwards as his projects roll one after another. He has "Bushwick", "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2", "Blade Runner 2049", and "Avengers: Infinity War", among others. In a recent interview, Bautista talked about his upcoming movies and how it was to work with Ryan Gosling and Harrison Ford.

"Blade Runner 2049" plot and cast revealed so far

"Blade Runner 2049" will hit theaters on Oct. 6, 2017 and fans were quick to read up about the new plot and cast. According to Movieweb, its initial release date was supposed to be Jan. 12, 2018, but it was pushed to an early one this year, which excited fans to know end. The film will introduce LAPD Officer K (Ryan Gosling), a new blade runner. He goes on a quest to find Rick Deckard (Harrison Ford), a former blade runner who has been gone for three decades.

No other character roles have been revealed yet. It seems that the new sci-fi action film will be as mysterious as Bautista's Marvel movies. Fans can't wait to see the new "Blade Runner" depicting some surprises and references to characters from the 1982 film.

In an interview with Collider, Bautista talked about his other projects and how it was working on "Blade Runner 2049". The 48-year-old WWE celebrity didn't reveal his role in the film, but he did say that his role as Drax in "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2" was bigger. He also confirmed that the Marvel sequel will revolve around a lot of family issues.

Bautista also said that he was very excited to see Kurt Russell on set. He called the older actor "a very social guy... got a lot of great stories... very good-looking... interesting guy." He continued to ask Russell about some movies. It seemed they had a great time on the "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2" set.

The wrestler also said that he was a fan of Harrison Ford and Ryan Gosling. Bautista couldn't stop hugging the latter, saying that the younger actor was so kind and was such a gentleman. He said it was the "Ryan Gosling Effect". Bautista also said that working with the "Blade Runner 2049" director, Denis Villeneuve, was fantastic.
