Ever since "Logan" first trailer was out, fans have been sitting on the edge to find out what would happen with the Wolverine. The trailer highlighting Logan covered in scars and wounds that somehow were not able to heal instantly as usual. In a recent interview, the Wolverine actor, Hugh Jackman finally revealed something that has made fans worried about the superhero.

In the interview with Empire, Jackman confirmed that Wolverine is, in fact, slowly dying. "The adamantium will eventually kill him," said the actor. Wolverine will probably meet his doom in the next movie, "Logan". It's clearly a terrible news for every fan out there.

It turns out that the adamantium which was placed in Logan's bone in last year's "X-Men: Apocalypse" is actually killing him. "X-Men: Apocalypse" gave us the first glimpse of Logan escaping the Weapon X Facility in 1983. Meanwhile, "Logan" is set in 2029, so that could mean Logan has been enduring the adamantium effects for 50 years.

Logan's terminal illness of adamantium might be inspired by the 2014 comic book "The Death of Wolverine". In real life, Hugh Jackman also has his personal experience with metal poisoning. The actor said to have a high level of mercury in his body due to his habit of eating tins of tuna.

It's a relief that Jackman doesn't get any serious misfortune because of metal poisoning, but Wolverine might never be able to endure the effects of adamantium poisoning anymore. So, fans should prepare to say goodbye to Wolverine once "Logan" kicks off the screen.

So far, there hasn't been any further news about "Logan" details. However, "Deadpool" actor, Ryan Reynolds, has teased that "Logan" is so good it might win an Oscar. "Logan looks like a movie that might break the glass-ceiling, it's mind-blowing," said the actor who also starred in "Green Lantern" movie. To find out what would happen to Wolverine in the final movie "Logan", fans should wait a little bit more until the movie premiers on March, 1.
