Intel Kaby Lake processors have already been unveiled and now reports suggest that the Apple iMac 2017 may come with these latest chipsets. The iMac 2017 is immensely expected to be released in March 2017.

As per PC Advisor, the 27-inch Apple iMac 2017 will probably have Core i5-7500, Core i5-7600 or Core i7-7700K. Apple might also go for an AMD Polaris 10 graphic unit for the iMac 2017. It is said however that the next-generation iMac will be having 10 USB 3.0 ports.

Apple has rolled out a new iMac back in 2015 when the company has updated its small desktop line with Retina screen. The larger models had the Skylake processors and since then fans have been expecting a new iMac with upgraded features and stunning specs.

The iMac 2017 is said to have a 5K display. For the graphics solution, Apple will have AMD Polaris 10 at the forefront among the potential choices. An additional interesting feature that the iMac 2017 will have is the Virtual Reality (VR) support.

Apple is expected to bet big on their iMac as it is expected to fully support VR and AR as well as come equipped with 32GB of RAM as well as a 2TB Fusion Drive storage unit.

Apple did hold a very Mac-specific event in October where the company only released a MacBook Pro that featuring a Touch Bar just above the keyboard. The Apple iMac 2017 was not even mentioned at the moment. Fans were left methodically irritated as they were all expecting a brand new iMac all-in-one desktop, new Mac Mini and a high-end Mac Pro.

Now the hopes and reports are suggesting that the tech giant will soon launch the latest iMac within the first quarter of 2017. This matches with Tim Cook's pronouncement that Apple has "great desktops in [its] roadmap".
