'Agents of SHIELD' Season 4 Episode 12 Spoilers: May & Coulson Kiss; the Koenigs Return!

"Agents of SHIELD" Season 4 Episode 12 release date is tomorrow and fans are about to see a familiar character return to the screen. The show is dropping hints and teasers about the Life Model Decoy program and the agents are running out of time when Agent Coulson and his team must rescue Agents Sam and Billy Koenig.

Koenig revelations in "Marvel's Agents of SHIELD" Season 4 Episode 12

The Melinda May LMD (Ming-Na Wen) continues her self-discovery in a nature versus nurture arc of the show. Episode 11 left fans with many questions about the LMD program and the secrets surrounding several characters like Mack and the original May. In the next episode, though, fans will see the return of Billy and Sam Koenig (Patton Oswalt), who are being hunted down by enemies who want to get at the Darkhold book.

According to CarterMatt, the Koenig being part of the Darkhold problem is a surprising thing. The fate of the world will be in their hands in the "Agents of SHIELD" Season 4 Episode 12 "Hot Potato Soup" and it's bound to be as crazy as it is a scary thought. Jed Whedon and Maurissa Tancharoen had said that the episode will finally reveal some Koenig family secrets.

Another thing fans should keep an eye out is whether May and Coulson (Clark Gregg) will finally kiss in Episode 12. According to Comicbook, May and Coulson's relationship has grown closer, with the latter spilling out several deep and personal secrets to May. Admittedly, it's an LMD who was told by Dr. Radcliffe (John Hannah) about May's feelings for Coulson.

In the video clip for "Agents of SHIELD" Season 4 Episode 12, Coulson talks about wanting to go to Ireland someday. May says that maybe they should go together. Coulson closes the distance between them until they're only a few inches from each other. May says, "Did you mean it when you said that you're ready for whatever comes next?" Coulson doesn't answer, but instead leans closer.

The video ends without showing the actual kiss and fans are left unsure whether the kiss will happen in Episode 12 at all. Chloe Bennet, Iain De Caestecker, Elizabeth Henstridge, Henry Simmons, and John Hannah will still appear in the next episode, together with guest stars Mallory Jansen as AIDA and Patton Oswalt as the Koenigs.
