Learn Why 'NCIS' Is Not Airing Tonight! Show Tops Central Florida's Most-Watched Programs

"NCIS" fans should not expect for any episode tonight as the TV show will be on hiatus. Meanwhile, after being rumored to be canceled "NCIS" Season 14 tops Central Florida's most-watched program last week.

Fansided reported that the "NCIS" gang is on break tonight. Super Bowl LI is airing on FOX this Sunday. However, the other networks, including CBS is jumping into the fray with related programming. Thus, Gibbs (Mark Harmon), Vance (Rocky Carroll) and the company could enjoy a short vacation.

However, fans, shouldn't be lonely because after a two-week break "NCIS" Season 14 will return to grace the small screens again. The next episode titled "Nonstop" will feature the return of a private investigating team called Sherlocks.

The anticipated episode will also bring back Robert Wagner to reprise his role as Anthony DiNozzo Sr. Jessica Walter will also join the episode for a guest appearance.

For those who still wish to watch "NCIS," the network will be broadcasting three reruns tonight until Feb. 7 when the new episode will air. "Privileged" airs tonight, Jan. 31. Meanwhile "Love Boat" and "Shell Game" will air on Saturday 9 p.m. and Sunday 8 p.m. respectively.

On the other hand, it looks like the TV series is back on its feet again after losing major characters. Per Orlando Sentinel, "NCIS" Season 14 tops Central Florida's most-watched program last week.

The CBS popular American police procedural drama is the national favorite. It had its biggest audience this season with 16.2 million viewers.

According to Inquisitr, the current season suffered a lower than normal rating and it keeps on dropping. In fact, even if "NCIS" Season 14 is doing well compared to other shows on CBS, when it is compared to its previous seasons the newest run has a poor performance. This lead to the rumors that it might be canceled despite its confirmed renewal for season 15.

There are also rumors that Mark Harmon is leaving the show. Many are concerned about his health and they believe that he should rest. However, this is not confirmed yet.
