'Beyoncé Expecting Twins' With Jay Z: Pop Queen Announces Pregnancy On Instagram

So finally the cat is out of the bag with Beyoncé announcing her pregnancy with an Instagram post on Wednesday. And this time it's double the happiness and joy as Beyoncé and her husband Jay Z are expecting twins.

The 35-year-old pop queen took to Instagram to announce the news of her pregnancy with a photo of hers dressed in underwear and a tulle veil. The caption to the photo which has her cradling her 'twin' bump read: "We would like to share our love and happiness. We have been blessed two times over. We are incredibly grateful that our family will be growing by two, and we thank you for your well wishes - The Carters," reports People.

The couple who has been married for nine years already has a daughter, Blue Ivy Carter, who was born in 2012. Beyoncé's mother Tina Knowles also joined her on Instagram to share the big news and thanked God for the twin blessings, reports E! News.

This announcement of Beyoncé's twin pregnancy is different from how she had announced her first pregnancy during the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards where she had revealed her bump while performing "Love On Top."

Beyoncé's pregnancy rumors started doing the rounds earlier this week when some fans claimed to have spotted a baby bump in a video from her clothing line, Ivy Park. The video which had Beyoncé wearing an army green bodysuit was deleted immediately when the fans spotted her bump.

In the past, Beyoncé had revealed about her struggle to conceive and how she suffered a miscarriage before she conceived Blue Ivy in 2011. The songstress will make an appearance at the Grammy Awards on February 12, where she is nominated in nine categories for her 2016 hit "Lemonade". She is also scheduled to headline the Coachella music festival in April this year.
