"Outlander" Season 3 remains one of the anticipated shows to return to the small screens. Unfortunately, the cast and crew are still filming and the new season has no premiere date yet but reports have it that two new faces join the cast and the new season might finally feature Lord John Grey.

Diana Gabaldon's "Outlander" readers love Lord John Grey. In fact, a number of them would love to see the character in the third season of the TV adaptation of the same title.

The well-loved character is still not confirmed in the new season. However, Sam Heughan teases that one Lord John Grey book might slip in "Outlander" Season 3, Philly.com reported.

There are rumors that the actor is talking about "The Scottish Prisoner" that happened around the same time of "Voyager." In the said book, Jamie is a paroled prisoner haunted by Claire's (Caitriona Balfe) memories. Jaime is keen on keeping himself away from war and politics.

However, Lord John recruited him and the two ended up traveling to Ireland together for a time-sensitive mission. If this scene is indeed in season 3, then viewers will finally get to meet Lord John Grey on screen.

On a side note, two actors are joining "Outlander" Season 3, E! News reported. Gary Young will play as Mr. Willoughby while Charlie Hiett will be Captain Thomas Leonard.

Mr. Willoughby is a Chinese man who is very knowledgeable with Easter medicine. He can speak English but doesn't boast about it. In fact, he hides his English skills when it suits him. The character will be Jaime's confidante.

Meanwhile, Captain Leonard is an inexperienced young officer who was promoted due to the untimely deaths of his commanding officers. He takes his job well and is willing to do what's best for the British Navy event if it does not follow his personal morals.

"Outlander" Season 3 will premiere later this year on Starz. Stay tuned for more news and updates about your favorite TV shows.
