'Mafia 3' Update: Expansions' Plot And Launch Date Revealed Thanks To Hangar 13

Since its release three months ago, it is expected that everyone who had bought "Mafia 3" has already finished the game by now and are just waiting for a DLC to be announced. Luckily, the game's developer Hangar 13 has announced details for the next three expansions for the game.

According to GameSpot, the first story expansion for "Mafia 3" is titled "Faster, Baby!" will revolve around fast cars, dramatic chases and epic stunt driving.  "Faster, Baby!" will give players the task of taking down a corrupt sheriff that is startling civil rights activist outside New Bordeaux. "Faster, Baby!" will be released around the end of March.

The second expansion story for "Mafia 3" is titled "Stones Unturned" and will cast the game's main protagonist Lincoln Clay and John Donovan, a CIA agent. The two will join forces to resolve a blood feud that began in the jungles of Vietnam. "Stones Unturned" will be out in May.

The third and final expansion for "Mafia 3" is called "Signs of the Times" and will revolve around the theme of religion and drugs within the inner city of New Bordeaux. The story revolves around a sequence of ritualistic killings that is wrapping New Bordeaux in terror.  The player is tasked by Father James to take down the cult responsible and will take Lincoln into the drug-infested guts of the inner city. "Signs of the Times" is expected to be released in July.

"Mafia 3" has also received a fair share of contents after its launch. This includes free racing mode, a new golden gun, and tons of new outfits, as Gamerant reports.

"Mafia 3" has also received a PS4 Pro upgrade, giving fans the experience to play the game with higher quality performance and game graphics. Tom Clancy's The Division was also given the upgrade for the PS4 Pro, along with many other games.

"Mafia 3" is still available for the PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
