Leonardo DiCaprio Meets The Turkish Chef ‘Salt Bae’

Leonard DiCaprio, the celebrity known for his outstanding performances in the film industry had paid a visit to the restaurant of "Salt Bae" in Dubai. Nusret Gokce, the Turkish chef who is also known as "Salt Bae", due to the dramatic way in which he sprinkles salt over a piece of meat.

"Salt Bae" happened to be exposed to the skills of sprinkling salt which immediately turned into a meme, ever since a video was posted on Instagram by a visitor of his restaurant who had captured the moment on his phone. In no time the video became viral making the Turkish chef known to the world for his looks and skill of sprinkling, reported US Magazine.

DiCaprio the Oscar winner for the movie "The Revenant" was treated at the Dubai restaurant by "Salt Bae" in his signature style on Thursday, 2 February. The Turkish chef also owns a chain of six steak houses in turkey called Nus-ret, has one of his restaurant in Dubai, where the actor dined.

DiCaprio met "Salt Bae" where he performed his trade made move by seasoning the meal himself to impress the actor. A picture on Instagram was posted by "Salt Bae" where the DiCaprio's expressions were captured as he was amazed to see the way the Turkish chef severed him his meal, as per Daily Mail.

Later a post on twitter along with the photo stated that DiCaprio should play the "Salt Bae" moves in luck to win his second Oscar award. In one of the interviews with the chef, he stated that his way of seasoning was his own n came automatically to him as his signature style.

According to the chef, this style is just like a final touch to a painting, which he does over a piece of meat. He also stated that he does not do it for attention but it certainly brought him fame.
