The final four celebrity contestants on ABC's "Splash" (Nicole Eggert, Drake Bell, Brandi Chastain, & Rory Bushfield) dove into Week 7 of the competition on the April 30th episode of the reality TV show.

With only one week remaining in the premiere season of ABC's new celebrity diving competition, the dramatics climbed to an all-time high as injured contestant Chuy (from Chelsea Lately) was brought back to the Splash pool to be Louganis' assistant and provide some comic relief to ease the tension building amongst the final 4.

In this week's challenge, each remaining celebrity selected their favorite board and was then assigned a dive by the "Dive Master" (coach Greg Louganis). In the battle for a spot in next week's finale, the highest scorer (combined with the audience vote) secured an automatic spot in the finale (Bushfield) while the other three participated in three-way dive off, resulting in Brandi Chastain's elimination.

Here's how last night's episode played out:

In an over-the-top opening scene in Week 7, a masked mystery celebrity diver was first to take the 10-meter plunge last night. Skateboarding legend Tony Hawk wound up being the man behind the mask. Bringing along a board of his own, Hawk simply skateboarded off of the platform.

After the over-hyped opening, Drake Bell was the first of the final four celebrities to take a command from the "Dive Master." The Nickelodeon actor attempted an inward one-and-a-half flip, which didn't go as well as he hoped. After receiving middle scores from the judges for his sub-par dive, Bell beat himself up (as usual) and sulked over his botched performance. His bad attitude was put on blast as he took a dig at fellow celebrity diver Rory Bushfield, proclaiming that at least he didn't go in feet-first (which is what Rory did the week prior & during practice this week).  Bell most likely went to take the rest of his anger out on Twitter to continue his war with Justin Bieber fans...

Next up was former "Baywatch" star Nicole Eggert, who nailed her front one-and-a-half and earned a solid average score of 7.25 from judges David Boudia and Steve Foley as a result. Foley commented that Eggert was this nice, timid mom who turned into "a calculating monster" at key moments in the competition.

After the "calculating monster" took a seat, soccer star Brandi Chastain took her turn. Kicking up the difficulty level, Chastain tried to execute a back one-and-a-half flip with a half twist, resulting in an unfortunate face plant. Although she didn't quite pull the dive off, both judges were rather tough on the athlete, noting that if they really went by the rules of pro diving, she technically didn't complete the dive and would have scored zeroes. Low scores accompanied the negative comment, securing Brandi's spot in the dive-off later.

Chuy Bravo then stole the spotlight by stripping off his shirt and twirling it over his head while sporting a man-sized sports bra (reenacting the soccer star's signature moment in the 1999 Women's World Cup final). Brandi was a good sport about it as she laughed and said, "Oh, now that's original."

"Splash" saved the best for last as pro-skier Bushfield beautifully executed a difficult triple backflip from the 10-meter platform with ease. Rory sprung ahead of Eggert on the leaderboard, which guaranteed him a spot in next week's finale episode.

The focus was then shifted to the three-way dive off between Bell, Chastain, & Eggert. Each celebrity delivered a decent performance, with Drake's handstand from the 10-meter platform making the most waves (even though he did a similar one in last week's dive-off).

Nevertheless, each judge had to pick only one competitor that they felt should continue on in the competition. Boudia chose Bell, while Foley saved Eggert. This left only Brandi without a vote. The soccer star made a graceful exit (which didn't include any sports bras or shirt twirling).

The Nickelodeon star (Bell), professional skier (Bushfield), and former Baywatch beauty (Eggert) are the final 3 celebrities remaining in ABC's reality diving competition. Tune into the finale episode next week to see which star will be dubbed king/queen of "Splash."
