Praise Lillith (or Billith)..."True Blood" fans only have to wait a few more weeks for season 6 of the HBO series to return to the network on Sunday, June 16th this summer.

Since waiting "sucks," HBO has unveiled a few teaser clips, as well as a new promo, for the highly anticipated sixth season of "True Blood," which will pick up where the season 5 finale left off with Bill becoming the new vampire "god" Lillith (a scary bloody creature), a Tru Blood shortage (thanks to the destruction of the bottled blood factories), Alcide taking over the wolf pack, and vampires on the verge of war with humans (once again).

Here's the latest released promo..."Blood WIll Spill!":

This "eerie" preview may not actually show any of the characters, but the bold statements from the cast members, like:

"Do you have any idea how many people want to see us all dead?" from Bill (Stephen Moyer)..

"It's us against them." from Jason (Ryan Kwanten)...

and "It feels like the world is spinning out of control," from Jessica (Deborah Ann Woll)

provide enough suspense to make us immediately thirsty for more "True Blood."

Season 6 will introduce fans to some new characters who have recently joined the "True Blood" cast. According to TrueBlood.net:

-Rutger Hauer will play a "sinister guy" named Macklyn who has mysterious ties to Sookie and Jason

-Karolina Wydra will play a sexy "badass" vampire named Violet,

-Robert Kazinsky will be introduced as a "Fae" who is Sookie's new love interest (sorry Team Eric/Bill/Alcide fans)

-Arliss Howard will enter as Louisiana Governor Truman Burrell

-Amelia Rose Blaire as and the governor's daughter WIlla, whose mother left her father to be with a vampire

--Jurnee Smollett will play Nicole Jannsen, an activist tangled up in vampire rights campaign

- Luke Grimes debuts as James, a"a circa '70s-made vamp who is smart, spiritual and emotionally deeper than any other bloodsucker we've seen before," reveals TVLine.

While new cast members are added to Bon Temp, some original characters will allegedly be forced to experience the "true death" as they exit the HBO show. The first hint at death was given by Joe Manganiello (Alcide) who told TVLine, "We're getting to the point in the season now where people are starting to die. The table reads are starting to get smaller, and I'm sure they will continue to do that."

Further, Episode 7 of season 6 has been entitled,"The Funeral," which also foreshadows the death of a cast member.

Sadly, it has been rumored that fan-favorite Eric Northman (Alexander Skarsgård) will become one of the casualties on "True Blood" this season. While "True Blood" fanatics hope that this isn't the case, the only vague input that Skarsgard has given about the upcoming season is, "We run for ten episodes in season 6 ... It's a great season," he reveals in a Rolling Stone interview.

Previous "True Blood" seasons have contained at least 10 episodes, but the shortened season was most likely to accommodate Anna Paquin's real-life pregnancy. Paquin plays Sookie Stackhouse on the series. She married Moyer (Bill Compton) in 2010, and they recently welcomed twins into their family last August. Production on True Blood season 6 also began later than usual (January 7, 2013) due to the pregnancy, reveals TrueBlood.net.

Another revelation from cast member Kwanten informs viewers that the show will be "getting back to the supernatural elements" of the earlier seasons.

Three teaser videos have been released by HBO, in addition to the two promos for Season 6. One of them focuses on Alcide who claims his new title as "Packmaster" of the warewolves, while the other snippet shows Jason (with a gun in hand) unleashing his anger to Eric's sister, Nora, before Sookie intervenes. The last clip shows Eric who looks for information about a secret experiment conducted on vampires in a secret facility..

Check out alll three of the "Waiting Sucks" teaser clips here, while waiting for the Sunday night premiere of "True Blood" season 6 on June 16th at 9pm on HBO.
