"Zelda: Breath of The Wild" has finally gone gold after years of a development process. At this point, there's no denying that this latest installment of the franchise is one of the most anticipated video games of 2017, and fans have been waiting eagerly for almost six years for the release of an official console after "Skyward Sword" was launched back in November 2011.

According to Nintendo Today, Monolith Soft developer, Yasuki Honne, revealed the good news via a picture posted on Twitter that shows "Zelda: Breath of The Wild" wrap party in Japan. Shigeru Miyamoto and Hidemaro Fujibayashi were seen in that event celebrating the title to be sent off for manufacturing.

There are several major points that have been discussing regarding "Breath of The Wild" gameplay details. Forbes reported, the next installment of "The Legend of Zelda" series will offer an alternate ending, which means players will need to go through the game twice to find out both versions of the game's ending, or they can simply watch it on YouTube. Zelda's producer, Eiji Aonuma, has confirmed that the game will indeed offer two endings. "If you do a few things, you may see a different ending," said the producer without mentioning any specific details.

Another thing that seems to get fans more excited to play "Zelda: Breath of The Wild" is the potential return of Epona. At the Nintendo Switch event in New York on January, 13, it was revealed that "Breath of The Wild" will have more various breeds of horses. It looks like the horses available in the next series will include the riding horses from Majora's Mask and Ocarina of Time.

In the latest "Zelda" game, players can also choose a variety of horses or any other animal companions like dogs. Players who own Wolf Link Amiibo can even summon the hero's animal form to accompany the protagonist, as players can see in the "Breath of The Wild" trailer. "Zelda: Breath of the Wild" will be available for Wii U and Nintendo Switch on March 3, 2017.
