The "Final Fantasy XV" Magitek Exosuit DLC release date has been delayed a bit further. Sometimes referred to as the "FF XV" Power Rangers DLC, the update is reported to undergo some revisions before it will be launched, causing the delay.

Recent updates reveal that the "Final Fantasy 15"  Magitek Exosuit DLC release is reported to occur a little later than previous estimates. The announcement of the delay comes from game director Hajime Tabata who revealed that the team will have to polish the appearance of the suits before the DLC could be released, reports Forbes.

Apparently, the new mech or power suits to be introduced by the "Final Fantasy XV" DLC are just too similar to those found in the "Power Ranger" franchise. For this reason, Tabata deemed it necessary to tweak the suits' appearance a bit to remove the resemblance. At the moment, no definite launch date has been offered.

Magitek armors were first introduced in "Final Fantasy VI" and are essentially mechas. They basically differ from the suits found in the Power Rangers franchise as the latter are just powered suits.

Meanwhile, the popularity of "Final Fantasy XV" is a major factor in helping boost Square Enix's revenues last year. Recently released company data reveal that Square Enix posted an astounding 24.4 percent year on year increase in revenues for the period starting April to December of 2016, reports PlayStation Lifestyle.

The company posted around 190.1 billion yen ($ 1.697 billion) in net sales for the period compared to the 152.8 billion ($1.364 billion) it earned for the same period the previous year. The increase translated to a spectacular rise in profits as well with the Square Enix posting 17.1 billion yen ($152 million) in profits for the period, a 26 percent increase from previous year figures.

The company's stellar financial performance last year was mainly attributed to its strong sales for titles that launched in 2016. Topping the developer's roster of earners are "Final Fantasy XV" as well as the PlayStation 4 version of "Rise of the Tomb Raider."
