‘Code Black’ Season 2 Finale Spoilers: Show May End With Dr. Leanne Rorish's Death

The "Code Black" Season 2 finale Episode is just around the corner and fans still have not received any updates on whether the show will continue or it will wrap up after the second season. However, it is being rumored that the series would actually be stopped after the season 2 finale.

It is reported that there is a possibility that the CBS medical series could end up with either of the fates, as there had also been a delay in the renewal of "Code Black" Season 2 last year when compared to other TV shows aired by the network. In addition, recasting was also an issue back then when Bonnie Somerville and Raza Jaffrey were dismissed.

The creators of "Code Black" introduced new cast members in the second season of the show to compensate fans for the losses with the promotion of some guest appearances to regular ones. Spoilers suggest the possibility that Season 3 just like "Code Black" Season 2 finale Episode is going see the introduction of new medical practitioners.

The medical practitioners at Angels Memorial will work hard so as to tackle the viral outbreak in the area, in the upcoming "Code Black" Season 2 finale Episode entitled "Fallen Angels." Hiddenremote reports that the episode will feature the doctors teaming up with the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in order to prepare an antidote capable of controlling the outbreak at the hospital.

FXTribune reports that CBS is expected to make a decision regarding "Code Black," In the coming weeks and there might still be hope for the renewal of the series as it premiered with 6.366 million viewers - a higher figure compared to Season 1 premiere. However, it is reported that there will more tension in the upcoming episode of "Code Black" Season 2, as Dr. Leanne Rorish (Marcia Gay Harden) will find herself in a position where she has to make a tough choice that could even claim her life.

It is also reported that fans are going to find the two final episodes of "Code Black" Season 2 very exciting, as both episodes are parts of one big episode, which focus generally on dealing with the viral outbreak. The team will work towards discovering the source of the viral disease outbreak in the city.  

Leanne will be endangered in various ways during the process of the struggle. Fans have based their speculations on this fact, thus, suggesting that she would possibly not make it through the process. But some other viewers believe that this is not possible as she is the main character in the CBS TV show. There is more coming up in the "Code Black" season 2 finale but, it is still not clear if there is going to be a season 3 or if it will be delayed just like it did with season 2.
