"Fire Emblem Heroes" is a game from Nintendo that is called "gacha" or plastic toys that originated from Japan. It is kind of similar to Nintendo's Pokemon Duel, which is also a gacha game. Gacha games are not really a thing in the western world, and with its penetration in the western market, these tips and tricks are aimed to help those new "Fire Emblem Heroes" players.

Battling through different missions will reward Orbs. These orbs are pretty important, as proper usage of these things can level up the character faster. It can also restore stamina bar. As reported by Twinfinite, there are two ways to use Orbs in "Fire Emblem Heroes"  and the first one is by going to Summon tab. Five orbs can be spent to unlock a random hero. This is another way to unlock strong hero to add to the team. It is suggested that instead of spending 5 orbs for a single hero, wait for 20 orbs instead and buy a hero pack to get five heroes.

The other way to use Orbs in "Fire Emblem Heroes" is by going to Shop tab. Upgrade the castles by using orbs, the castle buffs are permanent and it also restores stamina. To have more heroes available, barracks can also be expanded.

As reported by Forbes, it is better to ditch "starter" heroes. The logic for this is that starting heroes will always have a lower star that those on the initial picks. If the starter heroes are picked every time, it is better to have heroes with higher stars to avoid wasted time of leveling up low-level heroes when higher level heroes are available and hungry for XP.

"Fire Emblem Heroes" allows duplicate heroes can be merged to form a better one. Unfortunately, if planning to upgrade from 3-4 stars or 4-5 stars, that character will lose bonuses when going back to level 1 after the upgrade. It is better to do the stat boosting duplicate merging when the character is in max five stars.

Gacha games like "Fire Emblem Heroes" takes a lot of time for a player to be really in a good place. By buying things, the leveling up will be usually faster.
