Kate Middleton talked from heart to heart about the importance of opening up to someone to prevent mental health issues, especially on children. The Duchess of Cambridge and Prince William attended "The Big Assembly" at Mitchell Brook Primary School on February 6, to talk about the issue. The royal couple, who is the patron of children's mental health charity Place2Be, has been numerously campaigning and urging youngsters to speak up their feelings and promote kindness.

Kate Middleton, who looked gorgeous, wearing a red Luisa Spagnoli suit, told staff and children at the primary school that teaching kindness is as important as teaching math and other school subjects. According to E! News, The Duchess also shared her Middleton family value that her parents, Michael and Carole Middleton, always taught her about the importance of respect, kindness, and honesty. She and her husband also want to teach their children and show them how important those values are when they grow up.

The thing that gets Kate Middleton emotional as she delivered her wise advice to the kids is how she emphasized that mental health is just as important as physical health. The mother of two even shared a story about a little girl she met at the mental health's charity. "Recently I met an 11-year-old girl, and she told me if you keep your feeling inside, you can feel as though you will blow up like a balloon, but if you talk to someone, it can make you feel so much better," said The Duchess recounting the advice she got from the little girl, as reported by ET.

Catherine Roche, the chief executive of Place2Be said that Kate's commitment and understanding have made a huge difference for this matter that was previously neglected. Some people even connected Kate's investment in mental health issue is because she understands how hard it is to battling one. The Duchess of Cambridge even looked teary as she delivered a speech at the Place2Be charity back in 2015. Body language experts said that Kate Middleton showed stress mannerisms and lack of control, and that could be because she seemed to be hiding some problems on her own.

Kate Middleton, Prince William, and Prince Harry will continue their 'Head Together' campaign to encourage open conversations about mental health and raise awareness to treat a mental health issue as serious as a physical issue. The campaign will reach a high point in April at the London Marathon event with over 500 people raise funds awareness for the issue.
