'Batman' Director Leaves: Ben Affleck, Warner Brothers Agree To Find New Director For 'Batman'

Finally, Ben Affleck has confirmed that he will not direct the next sequel of international blockbuster "Batman". In his statement, Ben Affleck said that he wants to entertain a character that is loved by millions with full attention.

Forbes quoted Ben Affleck as saying that Batman is a massive role thus demanding passion, focus and the best of performance. He was further quoted as saying that he and the studio (Warner Brothers) are in search of a suitable director who can collaborate with him to direct the mega movie the "Batman".

Ben said that he is extremely excited about this project "Batman" and promise to materialize it with a full-fledged commitment to all the fans around the world. Current DC Comics plans are driven by Warner Brothers and issued a statement pledging full support to Ben Affleck with all resources.

Warner Brothers, in its statement, revealed that they are committed to bringing Ben Affleck's plans to life. Further details about the plot, starting date and another cast is not revealed yet but Ben is reported to have been working on the script of the upcoming "Batman" superhero movie.

It is also claimed by some sources that Ben Affleck has completed the script and handed over it to Geoff Johns who has been the co-writer of Batman along with Geoff Johns. Many experienced directors are on the cards for the super movie "Batman" including Matt Reeves, Gavin O'Conner, Denis Villeneuve, George Miller and Matt Ross, as reported by Metro.

Warner Brother and Ben Affleck will not rush the decision because they have lost two directors already for "The Flash" and don't want to lose another in the case of "Batman". They also replaced the director of "Wonder Woman". "Wonder Woman" is due to be released this year including "Justice League" later this year.

Many fans are shocked with Ben Affleck leaving as director of "Batman". The responded to the news development on social media with great concerns. Some rumors point to deep differences forcing Ben to leave as director of the movie. Ben Affleck is said to have problems with the script.

"Batman" super-hero is blamed by some sources for unusual delays of the movie with a loss of concentration due to his personal issues. For now, "Batman" needs a good script and a dynamic, full-time director to start rolling on the runway.
