MacBook Pro being the flagship laptop of the Cupertino-based tech giant remains to be the favorite subject among Apple users. According to new reports, a new model of MacBook Pro 2017 has been leaked by the company, itself.

Per Tech 2, Apple accidentally leaks the hardware information of its upcoming MacBook Pro 2017. The details were leaked in the macOS 10.12.4 public beta and reveal that there are new sets of products because its ids do not match any of the current Apple devices.

Forbes reported that Apple is now preparing the macOS code to accommodate the MacBook Pro's update to Intel's seventh generation chipset "Kaby Lake." These chips are produced in large volumes and are expected to be used in the latest Windows 10 powered devices.

MacBook Pro 2016 was released in the fourth quarter of the year, which means that Apple was forced to use Intel's sixth generation chipset. However, MacBook Pro 2017 is expected to use the latest chip. For those who just purchased the latest MacBook Pro, Kaby Lake is only a minor upgrade of Skylake so there is really no need to upgrade.

MacBook Pro 2017 with Kaby Lake is expected to be faster resulting in a better performance. It will also come with improved internal graphics and longer battery life as power consumption is reduced during playback of certain 4K files.

Overall, MacBook Pro lineup of Skylake processor will now be replaced Kaby Lake. The i5 6360U will be replaced by i5 7260U, the i5 6267U by the i5 7267U, the i7 6700HQ by the i7 7700HQ, and so on. You can check the complete details at Pike's Universum.

The Kaby Lake MacBook Pro 2017 might be released whenever Apple deems it appropriate. They can release it immediately or delay it and offer it on its summer Worldwide Developer Conference.
