Honor 8 Honored With Android Nougat 7.0: Huawei Issues Latest Updates From Today

Huawei has announced to enrich its low budget, high-tech smartphone Honor 8 with Android Nougat 7.0 update. The Honor smartphone was globally appreciated with a massive sale of 1.5 million units worldwide in just a few months.

Android Nougat 7.0 update for Honor 8 will start rolling officially from today for all the eligible Honor 8 smartphones. Huawei's EMUJI is replaced with Android User Interface (UI) in the updated Honor 8. Access to menu settings is made easy with customizable notification panel and camera settings.

Phone Arena reported that Huawei promised earlier in December to issue Android 7.0 Nougat update for its flagship smartphone Honor 8. Huawei also specified the month of February for the proposed update. Some users were allowed to install beta version of Android Nougat 7.0 in their Honor 8 smartphones in the UK few months ago.

New Android Nougat 7.0 will energize Huawei Honor 8 with efficient functions of applications, reducing on/off time, installation period and processing speed. Updated software is optimized for saving battery life and featured with user-friendly advanced capabilities. 

According to the Chinese smartphone developer Huawei, it will release the update of Nougat 7.0 for Honor 8 in different stages and the process will be completed by the end of this month with all the Honor 8 devices fully updated worldwide.

Huawei Honor 8 is a dual SIM, 4G/LTE enabled low budget smartphone with advanced features. Honor 8 was launched in 2016 with Android platform. Honor 8 has 12 MP rear camera with 4GB RAM powered by 3000 mAh battery. A fingerprint scanner makes Honor 8 a real competitor of established brands in the market with price flexibility options.

Honor 8 was initially priced at US$ 399. Tech Times reported that Honor 8 supports the EMUI 5.0 which can be trained by machine learning Algorithm. This algorithm enables the device to dynamically optimize processing resources.

This algorithm learns from user behavior of daily uses such as searches, data communication, social media and timings. Huawei Honor 8 is available on Amazon with huge discounts.
