'Orange Is The New Black' Season 5 Spoilers: What We Know So Far

"Orange Is The New Black" is currently on hiatus. However, the hype continues to grow. Here are the things we know about "OITNB" Season 5 so far.

The entire season happens in 3 days. Danielle Brooks told E! News that everything in "Orange Is The New Black" Season 5 is done over the course of three days. "OITNB" viewers will witness 13 episodes but everything covers the events within the said days.

The new season will be intense. Since the "OITNB" Season 5 only covers a few days, expect a lot of drama and suspense. Brooks warn fans that the new season will be intense. Thus, viewers should get their popcorn and tissues ready. Laverne Cox also said the same thing about "Orange Is The New Black" Season 5.

"When I read it, it was incredible, when we shot it, it was...intense. It's really, really intense," Cox told E! News in a separate interview. "It manages...as intense as it all is, it still manages to have an irreverence and a spin that is funny and thoughtful."

Taystee will take risks. Brooks teased earlier that her character, Taystee, will in a rage-induced battle. Yes, "Orange Is The New Black" Season 5 will be a war for the character. There is nothing to lose for Taystee, as she already lost everyone she cared for. Thus, we will see her fight for what she wants in the next "OITNB" season, Cheat Sheet reported.

Laura Preppon is directing an episode. Preppon who plays the role of Alex Vause will return to reprise her role and direct an episode. In her Instagram account, the actress confirmed that she is helming an episode.
