There is no doubt that "Toy Story 4" will be one of the most anticipated films in the franchise. Even though there haven't been any major updates despite the studio's announcement, the fourth installment of "Toy Story" franchise will definitely offer a fresh air to the fans that have been waiting for Woody and co. to return to the silver screen.

Fans must have recalled that Woody and Bo Peep had a special moment in "Toy Story 2". The two almost kissed each other even there was no significant relationship between them. Since there hasn't been any follow-up to that scene, "Toy Story 4" will most likely elaborate Woody and Bo Peep's love story. Woody and Buzz Lightyear will set out an epic adventure to find Woody's love interest.

The director, John Lasseter, said that he's quite excited about the idea of Woody and Bo Peep's story to highlight in "Toy Story 4". Lasseter added that he might add new characters to make the story more interesting. "We love those characters so much; they're like family to us. We don't want to do anything with them unless it lives up to surpass what's gone before," said the director as quoted by Variety.

Fans have also come up with a theory that "Toy Story 4" will feature an important part that involves Andy and his family. While the story promises a lot, the release date is perhaps one thing that could create a huge bummer for fans. According to US Magazine, "Toy Story 4" release date is pushed back from 2018 to June 2019. Apparently, "Toy Story 4" and "The Incredibles 2" switched their release dates, and "Car 3" is set to hit the screen in June.

However, the producer and director might have been under the impression that the upcoming "Toy Story 4" needs to break several records that the previous movies have collected. "Toy Story 3" has earned approximately $1,607 billion worldwide and it remains as Pixar's highest-grossing film. "Toy Story" premiered in 1995 and stars Tom Hanks (Woody) and Tim Allen (Buzz Lightyear).
