Camila Cabello left the famous girl group Fifth Harmony back in 2016. It left many fans reeling from the shock after Cabello's camp and the rest of the girls threw each other shade on Twitter. The all-new girl group still called Fifth Harmony returned with four members for a performance during the People's Choice Awards 2017. Cabello herself made her first solo appearance during the Grammy Awards 2017.

Two months after the break-up, Camila Cabello made her solo red carpet appearance in a turtle neck gossamer floral ball gown, according to PEOPLE. The 19-year-old "I Know What You Did Last Summer" singer was slated to present the Grammy awards. This wasn't the artist's first public appearance after leaving Fifth Harmony. Last month, she was a guest on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show", where she performed her single "Bad Things".

After Camila Cabello's departure, it seems that the rest of the Fifth Harmony members have also been taking making some solo projects. According to MTV, Ally Brooke Hernandez is also doing some projects on the side. Last month, she posted a video of her doing a cover for "Mad World".

Aside from Hernandez, team mate Lauren Jauregui also revealed her collaboration with Marian Hill for the duo's "Back to Me". Normani Kordei also unveiled her vocal talents performing cover mash-ups for her fans. She has done "Fake Love" and "Sneakin'". Recently, she did a mash-up of Solange's tracks "Don't Touch My Hair" and "Cranes in the Sky".

Camela Cabello leaving Fifth Harmony had become a she-said-they-said situation when both group told fans that they were both blindsided. Cabello insisted that her teammates knew about her plans to go solo, whereas the rest of the girl group members coldly said that they were told by Cabello's representative that she no longer wanted to be part of the group. Regardless of the obvious tension between the two parties, Cabello had posted on social media that she was still going to support her former teammates in their projects.
