It has been a year since the world was treated with the superhero movie masterpiece that is "Deadpool". In true Deadpool fashion, Ryan Reynolds posts a photo to commemorate the movie's first anniversary, with the Merc with a Mouth endorsing some toilet paper, of all things.

Posting the photo via Instagram, the image has Deadpool front and center on a cover on a cover of some toilet paper. Known as "Deadpool Ultra Soft", the tissue roll has 60% more sheets with hemorrhoid cream, according to Movie Web. The four-pack also brags about being able to absorb up to $240 of 'pudding', with an emoji of a smiling poop to cement the claim.

The photo even has a caption from Reynolds himself, stating that as "Deadpool" was released a year ago, the gift for a first anniversary is 'paper'. This type of humor is what set Deadpool apart from other films in the superhero genre. As Comic Book reported, the reason Fox bigwigs approved the movie is because it was too R-rated for Disney or MCU to match.

"Deadpool" opened February 2016, and it saw unprecedented success in both ticket sales and with critics. This would be hard to imagine for a movie that took 16 years to come out of production. Thanks to a test footage that came out in 2014, the positive response allowed Fox to green-light the project.

Currently, writers Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick, along with Reynolds, are working on the sequel, surprisingly called "Deadpool 2". As promised at the post-credits scene of the first movie, the second movie will mark the debut of Cable, the mutant son of X-Men Cyclops and Jean Grey's clone, Madelyne Pryor. Cable was originally intended to be part of the first "Deadpool" movie, though was though to be better suited for a sequel.
