Justin Timberlake Bends His Knee For Bill Withers At The Songwriters Hall Of Fame Bash

Justin Timberlake showed some class while at the Songwriters Hall of Fame event. The "SexyBack" hitmaker rocked his casual tux jacket and jeans look, sure. But the real reason that he wowed people was because of his gesture to Bill Withers at the Songwriters Hall of Fame ceremony.

Justin Timberlake, though a big star in his own right, was not shy in bending a knee. He did this in front of well-respected singer-songwriter Bill Withers who he met backstage at the Songwriters Hall of Fame event. Jessica Biel's husband was in awe of the man.

The "Can't Stop the Feeling" singer also told Bill Withers that he drew inspiration from his musical genius for his latest single. Justin Timberlake said that the legend's "Lovely Day" illumed him to come up with his groovy tune. Billboard quoted Timberlake "It's very serendipitous that this man is sitting with us here today." According to the music publication, it was one of the many unplanned and unscripted moments that evening at the Songwriters Hall of Fame gala.

Justin Timberlake was in attendance at the affair put together by the Songwriters Hall of Fame for his work in "Trolls". He acted as executive producer of music for the upcoming movie and also offered his voice for a character named Branch. At the same occasion, it was revealed that the pop star is slated to enchant the crowd at next week's Oscars with his "Can't Stop the Feeling". Furthermore, it is just fitting that he credits Bill Withers for his musical inspiration-the hit song won a Grammy last weekend.

All Access also announced last week that Justin Timberlake will have a Q&A for the Songwriters Hall of Fame. He was joined by Max Martin and Shellback on the panel for which Bill Withers acted as a moderator. The three of them gave an insight as to how the film industry's music side of things is doing.
