"Deadpool" actor Ryan Reynolds got his wife a Valentine's Day gift that is quite out of the box. Celebrating heart's day a bit early, Blake Lively received an arrow-shaped earring from her husband. Not a pair of earrings, but an earring.

While most women would be furious or disappointed, Lively, best known for her time in the CW series "Gossip Girl", has openly said she loved the gift. And why wouldn't she, as Reynolds just gave as 18-karat rose gold and diamond earring from Beverly Hill's jewelry designer Anita Ko, according to Entertainment Today.

The earring was first seen during L'Oreal's "Galentine's Day" event in New York City. Sporting a heart-covered dress and heart-shaped hair, Lively celebrated women empowerment with her mother Elaine and sister Robyn.

Stating that it represented cupid's arrow, a symbol attached to the occasion, Lively added that cupid indeed got her madly in love with Reynolds. She also called Reynolds a much better wife, as she was not prepared for the occasion herself, Marie Claire reported. Additionally, she hinted that there could be more gifts waiting for the actress at home.

Meeting Reynolds at the set of "Green Lantern" in 2010, the couple started going out in October 2011. After a year and buying a home in New York, the Lively and Reynolds tied the knot on September 2014. The couple has two little girls, with no plans of baby no. 3 anytime soon.

Ryan Reynolds seems to holding up well, with the recent Oscar snub of "Deadpool" despite its numerous nominations and awards. Currently, the actor and writers Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick, along with director David Leitch, are working on the sequel for the 2016 R-Rated hit. Cable and Domino roles are still being cast, though reports are circulating that Pierce Brosnan and Kerry Washington are eyed for the said roles.
