Apple has recently released a third beta update to all of its operating systems.  Both MacOS Sierra 10.12.4 and iOS 10.3 are currently available to developers and users who signed up for the public beta test program.

Developers and users with Apple's MacBooks, iPhones, iPads and the iPod touch will now have the chance to test the latest updates. Apple developers and users will be the first in line to see the improvements of both operating systems before it will be officially released to the public.

For the very first time, MacOS Sierra 10.12.14 brings iOS's in the Night shift mode. The Night shift mode was first introduced in iPhones and iPads with iOS 9.3 update. This feature allows to gradually shift the display of a device from blue to yellow, allowing less exposure to blue light. The blue light is said to be causing sleeping patterns when the circadian rhythm is disrupted, hence this feature helps users to sleep better, idownloadblog reported.

The Night Shift mode feature can be manually activated through the Notification Center or Siri. It is also available in the Display section of System Preferences.

On the other hand, The iOS 10.3 update packs a number of features including "Find My Airpods" option. This option helps the owner to locate their lost Airpods. It is somehow a bit similar to "Find iPhone" apps, this new application also can be found in the "Find my Friends" apps. The feature is designed to keep track when the earphone was last connected to an iOS device via Bluetooth. In addition, it even plays a sound when the earphone is nearby for easier location.

From the tracking of lost earphones to shifting Apple File System features. It was first introduced last 2016, this feature is optimized for USB or SSD storage.  Other features of iOS 10.3 update include tweaked app animation, a new Apple ID profile in the settings app, Siri Kit improvements, new iCloud analytics options, Verizon Wi-Fi calling on iCloud devices, 32-bit app alerts, according to MacRumors.

The new updates can be both found in the update section of the Mac App Store. Developers and users who signed up for the public beta test program can be found in the Apple Developer Center.
