Square Enix is making a sweet deal out of the "Dragon Quest Heroes II" Explorer's Edition. On top of the extra in-game materials, the pre-ordering the Explorer's Edition nets players with 15 weapons inspired by classic "Dragon Quest" baddies.

Basing from the list that Gematsu released, it seems that it covers most, if not all weapon types on "Dragon Quest Heroes II", like the boomerang "Drackerang", the two-handed sword Shadowblade and the card-based Royal Flush. Others, like the Night Club and the Imp's Fork, reflect the weapons some of the monsters in the game use themselves.

Available via Square Enix's Online Store, the Explorer's Edition of "Dragon Quest Heroes II" will be packed with other goodies. The Explorer's Edition pack comes with a costume from "Dragon Quest I", a "Healix the Hero" recipe for "Dragon Quest Builders" and an exclusive theme from the game.

Unfortunately, not everyone can get their hands on this premium offer. According to Crunchyroll, the offer is only good for the PlayStation 4 version of "Dragon Quest Heroes II". There is no word if other platforms will have their own set of treats or not.

Developed as the sequel to "Dragon Quest Heroes: The World Tree's Woe and the Blight Below", "Dragon Quest Heroes II" is a hack and slash game that is developed by Omega Force. The game's combat system is reminiscent of another classic video game series, Koei Tecmo's "Dynasty Warriors", wherein players control a character and fight hoards of enemies while meeting the goal. Goals could differ from castle defense to beating a stage boss.

One added feature to "Dragon Quest Heroes II" is the option for the player character to change classes. Some of the classes would include mage, thief, monk and warrior. Weapons and other equipment for the character in "Dragon Quest Heroes II" will differ depending on the class chosen.

"Dragon Quest Heroes II" is slashing into the PS4, PS3, PS Vita and PC on April 25 in North America and April 28 in Europe.
