‘Battlefield 1’ DLC: France Could Arrive With The Undead In ‘They Shall Not Pass’

France is definitely coming this March via that upcoming "Battlefield 1" DLC. However, it appears that it is not only the French army that is coming to town. If rumors are correct, the undead could be hitching a ride with the expansion pack.

EA DICE already confirmed that France is indeed coming as a faction via future "Battlefield 1" "They Shall Not Pass" DLC, VG24/7 reported. The addition of the faction would certainly make the World War 1-themed gamed more realistic as the country is a combatant in the actual war.

In fact, France is a major player in the First World Wa. Together with England and Russia, the country is part of what is known as the Entente Alliance with French forces making up the bulk of the Western Front. The upcoming "Battlefield 1" DLC that will introduce France into the game finally honors the nation's place in history.

In addition, the upcoming "Battlefield 1" DLC will introduce new game enhancements as reported by Gamespot. There are 11 firearms that players can unlock with the arrival of the expansion pack this March. These include Lebel Model 1886, which comes with two versions for Sniper and Infantry. The expansion pack also drops melee weapons such as the Cogwheel Club, Trench Fleur and Nail Knife for those who might prefer some old-fashioned methods.

Meanwhile, it has been rumored that the "Battlefield 1" "They Shall Not Pass" DLC may unleash the undead into the game. The update's community test environment (CTE) is now playable for PC and players noticed that the new Fort de Vaux map could be harboring some dark secret.

The map contains a shut door marked with the French word "isolement" or isolation in English. Players say that ungodly screams can be heard through the closed door, sounds that seem to suggest zombies could be coming to the game.
